The Journey to Becoming a Future Mom
#ExperienceSharing #IVFSuccessOnFirstTry #IVFSubsidy
Now five months pregnant, I feel incredibly lucky to have succeeded with IVF on the first try!
But I believe this luck didn’t come out of nowhere—it was thanks to Dr. Hsu’s professional judgment, the warm and caring medical team, and the relaxed clinical environment that everything went so smoothly.
After being married for over a year with no news of pregnancy, I started traditional Chinese medicine. I regularly took my pulse, drank herbal remedies, used ovulation test strips, and measured my basal body temperature.
Yet every month, my period still came… and I felt disheartened again and again.
A few months later, my husband and I decided to visit a major hospital’s infertility clinic.
There, I learned that I had almost every commonly heard gynecological issue—low AMH, chocolate cysts, uterine fibroids…
I’ll never forget the moment I heard I was “infertile.” I pretended to be strong as I walked out of the clinic but broke down in tears right after.
I never imagined that the plot of the drama “Mother to Be” would reflect my own life. But I had to accept reality and decide where to undergo IVF treatment.
Through a friend’s recommendation, I visited Huayu.
Only then did I learn that the current IVF subsidy was made possible by the efforts of Dr. Hsu himself.
I’m truly thankful—this journey is financially demanding, and the subsidy is such good news for families struggling with infertility.
During the next three months, I followed Dr. Hsu’s plan step by step. His calm demeanor gave me peace of mind.
With weekly check-ins, blood draws, and injections, the process wasn’t easy.
But the gentle care from the nurses, their constant reminders about small details, and even phone calls in the evening to remind me to inject the trigger shot and notify them via LINE—all of this made me feel truly cared for.
Two weeks after embryo transfer, when Dr. Hsu said, “Congratulations, you’re pregnant!”
I was overwhelmed with joy—I finally understood what it means to cry tears of happiness.
Although I’ve now graduated from Huayu, I still cherish the weekly ultrasound visits—watching what once looked like a tiny peanut grow into a baby that now kicks inside me.
It’s all so incredible.
I hope every future mom out there can receive this precious gift of life.
I’m deeply grateful to the Huayu team for their dedication and care.
To all the moms who have graduated from Huayu—
We’re so happy and proud of you!
You’ve worked so hard throughout this journey.
Please remember to rest and take care of yourself during pregnancy.
We look forward to welcoming you and your Huayu Baby back in a few months!
