Huayu Makes the Journey to Parenthood Less Frustrating — Babies Come Home for Christmas
Huayu, founded by Taiwan’s AMH pioneer Professor Ming-I Hsu, held a “Babies Come Home for Christmas” event just before the holiday. Many parents brought their children back to reunite at the place where life began. Some even traveled from as far as Pingtung, just to return with their little ones to where their journey started. Parents warmly shared their fertility journeys, moving many to tears.
The experiences of infertile couples on their path to pregnancy are often unimaginable. One 41-year-old mother shared that she began trying to conceive at an older age. With an AMH of 0.41, Dr. Ming-I Hsu recommended an egg accumulation strategy. Understanding the rarity of each egg, she opted for PGT-A testing on every precious embryo. The first high-quality embryo selected and transferred led to a successful pregnancy.
Another mother shared that she hadn’t originally planned to marry. At 36, fate brought someone into her life, and she got married the following year. She actively pursued pregnancy, taking a range of supplements and expensive Chinese herbal treatments without success. With an AMH of 1.41, her first IVF attempt at another clinic failed. After comparing many fertility centers, she chose Huayu for the sense of reassurance it provided. Dr. Cheng-Wei Wang’s confidence gave her hope. Though initially hesitant, she followed the treatment plan closely and got pregnant after just one embryo transfer.
Female fertility is often restricted by biology. Everyone starts with a different egg reserve, and the number of eggs naturally declines with age, making conception more difficult. Director Hsu stated that Huayu’s mission is to minimize frustration and failure for women trying to conceive. Every detail is executed to perfection so that couples can quickly experience the joy of having a baby. Every baby is a treasured memory for us, and we look forward to seeing more Huayu parents next year, smiling joyfully while holding their children.
