Professor Ming-I Hsu studied under the world’s first creators of IVF through induced ovulation—Dr. Howard W. Jones and his wife.
He served for over five years as a research fellow at the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, led by the Jones couple.
Under their guidance, he conducted extensive research on female infertility, IVF, fertilization processes, and male sperm fertilization dysfunction, and developed diagnostic reagents for sperm function, securing international patents.
Upon mastering his field, he returned to Taiwan to serve patients.
With over two decades of dedicated research in gynecology, Dr. Hsu is an internationally recognized expert in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and ovarian function, with numerous academic papers published in top international journals and frequent invitations to speak at global medical conferences.
He has also served as a reviewer and committee member for national research programs, including Taiwan’s Ministry of Science and Technology and Hong Kong’s Health and Medical Research Fund.
