Gonal-F 300 IU Pen
Women who do not ovulate even after treatment with Clomiphene Citrate.
Patients undergoing assisted reproductive technology (ART) may use this medication to stimulate multifollicular development.
- Mild and temporary redness, swelling, or itching may occur at the injection site.
- Symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, headache, bloating, or abdominal pain may indicate ovarian hyperstimulation. These effects can be reduced by strictly following the prescribed dosage and undergoing proper monitoring.
Injection Instructions
STEP 1
Clean your hands.
STEP 2
Take a new needle and remove the outer seal. Hold the outer needle cap and push the pen’s threaded tip into the cap, then twist to secure. Remove the outer cap, keeping the inner cap in place.
STEP 3
Use the dose-setting knob to set the required dose. Rotate until the desired dose appears in the display window. Do not push or pull the knob while turning.
STEP 4
Remove the inner needle cap, insert the needle vertically into the subcutaneous tissue, and press the dose-setting knob all the way down. Keep the needle in the skin and continue pressing the knob for at least 10 seconds. When the display returns to 0, the dose has been fully delivered.
STEP 5
While continuing to press the knob, withdraw the needle. Recap using the outer needle cap and remove it. Replace the pen cap. If any medication remains, store the pen in the refrigerator.
STEP 6
Return the used pen and needle to the medical staff at your next visit.
