Sperm Donation Process
Step.1
Blood Test, Semen Analysis, and Urine Test
Phase 1
Reports take about 1 month.
Semen analysis requires 2-5days of abstinence beforehand.
On the test day, please fast for 4 hours(water allowed)and avoid taking any Chinese or Western medications within 2 weeks.
At the same time, our clinic will submit a formal inquiry to the Health Promotion Administration (Ministry of Health and Welfare) to confirm whether you have registered or donated before. This result takes approximately 2 weeks.
Step.2
Sperm Freezing
Abstain from ejaculation for 2–5 days before freezing.
※Note: Before sperm freezing, adjust your lifestyle and diet as much as possible. If you smoke or drink, you must pause these habits until the process is complete.
Step.3
Blood Test (Syphilis and HIV)
Six months after sperm freezing, once blood test results are confirmed to be normal, a compensation of NT$8,000 will be issued.
